When visiting Noosa, you must visit the stunning National Park, where you can view the famous fairy pools and will often spot dolphins jumping through the water nearby. Noosa is a popular spot for surfing and taking a walk through the farmers markets, boutique’s and cafe’s. Here are some of the top things to do when visiting Noosa, Queensland.

Noosa National Park

Visit the famous National Park of Noosa where you can take a variety of coastal walks, spot whales (during migrating season), dolphins and turtles. Noosa National Park holds the instagram-worthy Fairy Pools, which are completely free to visit. These fairy pools are actually tidal rock pools, and it takes approximately 2.4 kilometers (around half an hour) to reach the fairy pools. The walk to the pools is filled with beautiful palm-shaded paths and scenery of the beaches. Follow the signs and maps along the paths.


Kayak with Dolphins

This is an experience not to be missed. Jump into the true Australian style and go 4WD-ing (four-wheel-driving) along the beach of the Great Sandy National Park. Once you have arrived, you will go kayaking with the chance of seeing bottlenose dolphins, manta-rays, turtles and maybe even whales. Book a surfing lesson in Noosa, where you will have experienced instructors teaching you how to catch a wave along the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Most surfing lessons in Noosa provide beginner surf boards and wetsuits, and generally hold surfing lessons for around 2-3 hours. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

Laguna Lookout showcases stunning views of Laguna Bay and Noosa Main Beach. This lookout can be found in The National Park, with directions found on the signs and nearby maps. Follow the short path through the beautiful tree’s, filled with bird life and views of the beach.

Sunshine beach is a stretch of open beach with white sand and surf-breaks, you can join the coastal walk and take some beautiful photo’s on the Sunshine Beach Stairs, which overlooks the ocean and the squeaky white sand or simply relax on the beach.
